Role Automated Test Engineer

The role is for an Automation Test Engineer who will develop and maintain software to automate testing of a Dynamics CRM 4.0 line of business application and .NET based website. The position will be on a Scrum Team and as such the individual will be relied upon as a test resource on the Scrum team

Responsibilities

1. Develop test automation strategy, scripting, test scheduling and execution, for all types of system testing including

a. integration

b. load

c. performance

d. regression

e. GUI

& and functionality.

2. Work with development team members to incorporate ideas from solution requirements into testing strategies and plans, thus ensuring that new or modified software applications meet both business and technical requirements.

Experience

1. Third Level qualification in Computer Science

2. At least 5 years experience in test automation / software development

3. Up to 3 years experience using Visual Studio Team System Test Edition or equivalent automated tools

4. Experience with Visual Studio .NET developer (C#, VB, Javascript)

Also

1. Test methodologies and techniques

2. Experience constructing automated test plans for web-based applications

3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
