Java Developer - London
My client is a leading FTSE 100 company based in London. They are currently looking for an experienced Java developer with proven hands-on experience to work within their online division.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate at least 5 years of hands-on development experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies through the full development life cycle. You will have a combination of direct involvement and documentation with requirements from business and/or systems analysts. As such - excellent communications are essential.
Essential technical skills for this role will revolve around Core Java and J2EE development and extensive knowledge/experience of Agile development environments.
The successful candidate will need to display the following skills:
- Excellent customer facing and communication skills.
- The ability to work within a fast paced environment.
- A good combination of experience with the following technologies:
o Unix
o Spring
o Oracle
o OO (Object Orientated) design/UML
o CSS/HTML/XHTML/JavaScript
o CMS
It is important that your previous experience lies within large organisations with large online/ecommerce applications. That said, having solid experience of Core Java and J2EE development is of more importance.
