A leading financial services company based in South Dublin has a new job vacancy for a Systems Engineer with 2 years JAVA development experience. The successful candidate will be involved in preparing and applying software releases between development, test and production environments

Ideal Candidate:
· Relevant IT degree/diploma
· 2+ years Java and client-side development experience using MVC frameworks such as struts, JSF, struts2 etc.
· 2+ years experience using JSP, HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML,XSL,XSLT
· 2+ years server-side development experience with J2EE (JMS, Web Services etc) and IBM
· 1+ years experience in a UNIX environment.
· SQL and Database communication, JDBC, JDO, Hibernate, iBatis etc.

Unix Sys Admin-opportunity to live in Switzerland for a yr!

successful global service provider in the finance sector. Due to their continuous growth they are looking for a Unix Systems Administrator to join their team. This is a permanent position. You will initially spend 3 months in Dublin and then you will be based in Geneva, Switzerland for up to a year with accommodation paid for.

Your role:
You will be part of a highly skilled technical team and you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of their Unix based systems.

Your skill set:
4 years Linux administration experience
At least 2 years RedHat experience
2 years Solaris administration experience
Knowledge of firewalls/networking
Knowledge of SAN technologies

Ideal but not essential:
Relevant experience in the financial services sector
Commercial experience with Ubuntu
Knowledge of Apache/ web sphere/ Tomcat/ Oracle
Bachelor’s degree

Salary:
€50k-€55k plus amazing benefits
