PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks and responsibilities of the project manager are:

  • Taking responsibility for all aspects of the delivery of projects
  • Interfacing with Sales and Program Management for commercial items

Project Manager for Hangar Construction

Reports to: Director of Engineering

Ryanair is the World's favourite airline with 36 bases and 950+ low fare routes across 26 countries, connecting 150 destinations. By the end of November 2009 Ryanair will operate a fleet of 210 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft with firm orders for a further 102 new aircraft (before taking account of planned disposals), which will be delivered over the next 2.5 years. Ryanair currently employs a team of more than 7,000 people and expects to carry approximately 66 million passengers in the current fiscal year.

Based on the above information Ryanair require to expand our aircraft maintenance capability. Presently we have 3 facilities Dublin, Stansted and Glasgow Prestwick, due to the requirement for increased hangar capacity, Ryanair are in the process of choosing several sites throughout Europe to build hangars on a D&B process to fulfil this increase.

Duties Include:

Quality Manager

Location: Northern Ireland

The Quality Manager will work closely with the Technical Manager to control the entire function of the Quality Department. This is a hands-on role. The job will require a high standard to be maintained throughout the factory and where necessary train staff to achieve good results.

The Role:
Ensure that the program of the QA Dept is undertaken on a day-to-day basis Highlight any deviations in the performance of production and oversee corrective action. Highlight non-conformances to the Technical Manager. Implement Micro Analysis Programs. Monitor hygiene standards. Investigate customer’s complaints. Maintain records of checks and under take trend analysis as required. Prepare report for the Technical Manger and Production Manager as required. Train and monitor Quality Supervisors. Train and guide production personnel.

The Candidate:
Third level qualification in food science or related discipline.3-5 years Experience in Food Processing.
A good working knowledge of HACCP and BRC / EFSIS is essential.
Auditing: Both Internal & External – Ideally (but not essential) holding a Qualified Lead Auditor.
A good appreciation of the production environment.
A team player with proven man management skills.

Requirements & Skills
Business/IT related qualification, at minimum degree level.
A minimum of 5 + years’ experience in a solution/business integration role
Project Management qualification and experience
Experienced in developing and maintaining effective business relationships
Demonstrable success at driving performance and achieving constant growth towards and exceeding business targets
Experience in operating effective time and schedule planning within a specified objective range and assigned area
Keen commercial focus and ability to work in changing environments
Ability to demonstrate service excellence across all levels of the business
Experience in operating within a wider cross functional team, utilising available resources in an effective and timely manner.
Experience in the card acquiring business would be a distinct advantage.

724 Solutions International Senior Support Engineer

724 Solutions, a worldwide leader in providing technology and solutions to mobile network operators, is looking to add to its existing staff supporting one of the Italian premier mobile operators.  As a member of the 724 Solutions onsite team, the successful candidate would be part of a team supporting 724’s customer deployments of 724 products and customizations in Milan.

 

Scope of Responsibilities

 

·         Serve as primary day-to-day technical contact for operations and support, problem analysis, product questions, and general troubleshooting as required.

·         Participate as part of an on-call rotation to support after-hours production issues.

 

 

Representative Daily Tasks

 

·         Supports and works closely with large Mobile Operator Clients Level 1 Operations / Support technical staff

·         Tracks, manages and escalates Client issues through to resolution

·         Isolates problems with little assistance from others

·         Takes on special assignments with little guidance and direction from management

·         Ability to perform troubleshooting and other problem analysis as required.  For example;

o    Isolate complex network problems with little assistance

o    Reproduce and document complex problems in a test or other environment

o    Identify software faults and isolate them to software module level

o    Isolate hardware problems to unit level

·         Assist with patch or new release deployment, user acceptance testing support, and production deployment 

·         Develops Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and performs tests required for change activities to be performed

·         Log cases into 724’s incident tracking system

·         Liaise with 724 Solutions’ Product Development organization. 

·         Ability to document, prioritize, and communicate Client issues

 

 

Other responsibilities, from time to time, might include:

 

·         Participating in customer-specific development activities as customer requirements change and expand (eg: developing operations / administration utilities or scripts)

Experience Required

 

The qualified candidate should have:

  1. A strong technical background in Linux/Unix systems administration (Redhat Linux, in particular)
  2. A solid understanding of networks (IP addressing, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)

3.     Background and experience in Web protocols and configuration, plus WAP, MMS, and SMS protocols

4.     Shell and/or perl Scripting experience preferred
