PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks and responsibilities of the project manager are:

  • Taking responsibility for all aspects of the delivery of projects
  • Interfacing with Sales and Program Management for commercial items
  • Interfacing with Product Group regarding product releases to ensure delivery of functionality as committed to Customer
  • Managing the requirement gathering from internal and external customers
  • Following the change Management Process and ensuring that it is complied with by all members of the team
  • Preparing and planning projects, and driving those plans through to a successful conclusion
  • Managing and tracking effort, cost, progress and highlighting ways to keep the project on track in spite of issues – “can do” attitude is essential
  • Delivering the resultant projects on time and to budget, managing expectations and handling issues as required
  • Mitigating risks and addressing issues to ensure timely completion of project milestones
  • Ability to clearly monitor and report to senior management and Customers on project progress with respect to effort, cost and duration and key milestones
  • Manage risks and issues and be in a position to concisely present status at any time to management.
  • Represent our clients stakeholders at customer meetings and presentations
  • Interviewing and resourcing project teams
  • Mentoring and review of engineers leveraging individual skills to maximise effectiveness
  • Managing teams of varying sizes; sometimes located in different sites and time zones. Maintaining group dynamic to facilitate individuals working as a team
  • Providing clear leadership to the team and making informed decisions on various options presented
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel – Average of 25% and up to 50%

Project Manager for Hangar Construction

Reports to: Director of Engineering

Ryanair is the World's favourite airline with 36 bases and 950+ low fare routes across 26 countries, connecting 150 destinations. By the end of November 2009 Ryanair will operate a fleet of 210 new Boeing 737-800 aircraft with firm orders for a further 102 new aircraft (before taking account of planned disposals), which will be delivered over the next 2.5 years. Ryanair currently employs a team of more than 7,000 people and expects to carry approximately 66 million passengers in the current fiscal year.

Based on the above information Ryanair require to expand our aircraft maintenance capability. Presently we have 3 facilities Dublin, Stansted and Glasgow Prestwick, due to the requirement for increased hangar capacity, Ryanair are in the process of choosing several sites throughout Europe to build hangars on a D&B process to fulfil this increase.

Duties Include:

  • Main contractor tender assessment and recommendation
  • Review construction contract conditions
  • Contract administration
  • Fulfil clients CDM co-ordinator role
  • H&S compliance
  • Liaison with airport authorities
  • Liaise with planning department/officer
  • Negotiate and control variations
  • Control utilities connections/contracts
  • On site project management through to practical completion
  • Cost control
  • Weekly reports
  • Monthly valuations and approvals

Infrastructure project manager for a financial institute - Dublin Ireland

This is an initial six month contract beginning in January.

This is a major technical project involving the straight set up of a green field site. You will need to have expert technical support experience and worked on numerous projects of a similar nature.

You will provide technical advice, liaise with third parties as well as be very much hands on.

80,000 retail stores across North America, Europe and the Middle East region.

My client is seeking an experienced .NET Program Manager who will be

coordinating and directing all activities and personnel involved in the

implementation and completion of projects including but not limited to

design, scheduling, budget, and delivery. The program manager will be

working closely with the CTO, Product Manager and Developers to ensure

successful closure on all projects.

The responsibilities include:

* Run complex projects from design and development to production

* Coordinate product specifications/requirements with technical

development

* Design and maintain technical and project documentation

.Net - Web Apps - Financial - Contract

You MUST HAVE a proven track record of been given a concept or idea with limited information and work with the shareholders to produce business requirements. You will have experience translating vision and strategy concepts / ideas into functional specifications. You must have excellent knowledge of Poker and understand the game well.

You will have superb listening skills. Have experience in being able to capture the concept or idea. Use your modelling tools experience to help you write clear and concise functional specifications. If you come from a technical background this would be an advantage as in their experience people who have a technical background have a stronger eye for attention to detail as you have a strong appreciation of IT systems.
