Developer/Lead Developer Vacancies at BBC Worldwide, London

1. Lead Developers - £55-60k plus 10% bonus + benefits:
Working within a delivery team comprising of a Project Manager, Business and/or System Analyst and Developers. A lead developer should be capable of working to and learning traditional plan-driven and agile development approaches.

Skills required >
ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, XML, Object Relational Mapping (NHibernate etc) , OO Analysis/Design, Unit Testing (Nunit / Test Driven .NET etc) & Version Control (Subversion / SourceSafe etc).
Desirable Skills > Continuous Integration, Refactoring, Third party libraries, Web Services, SOA, Automated Testing.


2. Developers - £45-50k plus 10% bonus + benefits:
Working within a team of 3-5 other developers, including a Development Lead, a developer is responsible for the production of software and the translation of specifications into physical software assets. You should be capable of working to and actively participating in agile planning sessions and be familiar with Lean principles and practises.

Skills required >
ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, Test Driven Development (Rhino mocks etc), Continuous Integration (Cruise Control, Nant etc), Refactoring, Automated acceptance testing (Fitnesse / Watir / Selenium etc), Object Relational Mapping (Nhibernate / Ibatis .NET etc), Pair Programming, OO Analysis/Design, Unit Testing & Version Control.
Desirable Skills > Related MS technologies (BizTalk / SharePoint / WCF / WPF etc), Ruby, Reporting, Third party libraries, Web Services, SOA & Load Testing.
